This weekend is the annual Opening the Doors Appeal which St Therese’s has supported since 2011, raising more than $20,000 over the past eight years.
The Foundation addresses the severe educational disadvantage still being experienced by many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. The Foundation covers the extra costs associated with schooling, costs not otherwise funded from government or other educational funding sources, such as school uniforms, books, school camps and other school associated costs.
